Margaret contacted me several months before her wedding to inquire about my services. After a great conversation, she asked me to be a part of her big day! Fast forward to the day before the wedding and our first official meeting in person. Margaret and Ben were so gracious and pleasant, they made me feel like we have known each other for years. What made this Duke Chapel wedding unique is that the ceremony was held in the Chancellery of the Chapel. This was new for me, but I was ready! In fact, I think this is my new favorite place to photograph a wedding ceremony. It was very intimate, allowing guests to sit along the side of the altar and therefore having a great view of the nuptials.
Margaret and Ben really wanted a picture of the two of them in front of the Chapel since this is where he popped the question.
After the ceremony, everyone traveled a short distance to 604 at West Village in Downtown Durham for a delightful luncheon reception. Guests had a chance to greet the newlyweds, enjoy a scrumptious lunch, and send the couple off on their way!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Davis!
