Courtney and Brian were married at the Full Frame Theater,
a very unique venue in Downtown Durham. This beautiful family chose the venue based on its rich history and the fact that it is basically in their backyard. The girls spend much of their time playing in and around the Tobacco District, and both Brian and Courtney work on campus. So it only made sense to make the Full Frame Theater the venue for what was to be a very memorable day.
I had the pleasure to meet with the newly engaged couple and the children a few weeks before the wedding day. It was a gorgeous summer afternoon and a perfect day for a photo shoot! The girls were glowing with excitement and I think that is reflected in their bright white smiles. They were such a pleasure to photograph!
After we finished with the family photos, I focused on Courtney and Brian. Since they live just steps from the Theater, we took full advantage of all that the Tobacco Campus has to offer. We even had access to the balcony from their apartment to capture a very unique perspective of the Tobacco District skyline.
Just a few weeks later, it was wedding day! Courtney and Brian celebrated their wedding nuptials with their closest family and friends. The Theater was beautifully decorated and featured one of the most delicious dessert tables I have ever seen. Yummy!!!
After their first dance, the couple mingled with guests and danced throughout the night. Courtney and Brian made their grand exit from the dance floor, up the industrial elevator, out to the balcony. It was a spectacular exit!
Although it pretty much rained the entire night, I was still able to coax the couple outside for a few photos with the Theater as our backdrop. I love these images!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Schnee!
