Harrison Bailey Boyle ~ July 22, 2010

I had the pleasure of photographing Harrison Boyle last weekend. When I arrived I was expecting Harrison to be awakened by my equipment, but that was not the case. Everytime my flash fired, Harrison would throw his arms in the air but would not wake up. So adorable! Apparently, Harrison kept mommy and daddy up the night before, so everyone was pretty tired by the time I arrived. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

It’s a girl!

In addition to my first “belly” shoot the other week I also had another first… “Newborn” shoot. Blake Madison Boyle was born June 21, 2010 and she is so adorable. Although she wasn’t a big fan of my flash, I was still able to get some great shots! Congrats to Cori and Robert on a healthy, beautiful little girl!

I love the next image on the right… it pretty much tells what Blake thought of her first professional photoshoot

Hannah & Charles ~ June 26, 2010

Hannah and Charles were married in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at the Sutherland. This was my first time photographing at the Sutherland and I can’t wait to go back! The staff are simply amazing!

Well, as you can imagine it was another scorcher… but once the sun went down and the party started, it was easy to forget about the heat and the occasional rain.

 Congratulations Hannah and Charles!

It’s a boy!

I am so excited to have photographed my first Belly Shoot. And to make is even better, Val and Davis are very close friends who were more than willing to be my test subjects. I love the way the pics came out and learned a lot, can’t wait for my next belly shoot!

Congrats to Val and Davis… Harrison Bailey Boyle was born July 22, 2010!!! Mommy, daddy and Harrison are all doing great!

(minus a little sleep I’m sure)

Kathy & Adam – E-session

I thought the hottest day for me thus far was my Duke Gardens wedding in May. I was wrong. It was the day I photographed Adam and Kathy’s engagement session. I think by the end of the shoot I had lost 10 lbs. But they looked great! Hardly breaking a sweat, unlike me. The location is Yates Mill Park in Raleigh. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous backdrop for an e-session. I hope to shoot there again soon. Here are some of my favs!
